Refugees Welcome?, Gothenburg 2020
Hayfaa Chalabi is an illustrator and storyteller interested in the body of normative narratives. In the mural Refugees Welcome? Hayfaa explores structural apathy towards refugees in Sweden. The work is a documentation and narration of Sweden’s contemporary history and the nation’s way of dealing with the so-called ”Global Refugee Crisis”.
