Anja Fredell (b.1990) is an artist based in Gothenburg originally from Torsby, Värmland. The artist investigates how interpersonal relationships take place in domestic spaces. She does this by looking at the relationship between two inner realms: the subjective worlds of people and their privates homes. Fredell often uses the carpet both as a carrier of the domestic context and a stage where different situations and emotions between subjects are acted out.
