Lena Trapp (b.1974 in Gothenburg) works with art installations, sculpture and 3D-animation. Lena explores how imbalanced structures effect us as individuals. The Anthropocene is a structure that builds on an asymmetry between human and nature, how we have forgotten the ability to live in harmony with nature. What amplifies this further is the gender inequality and patriarchal structures. Lena investigates what it means for us to live in a time characterized by these structures. Lena also explores the subconscious, constructed memories versus reality.
